Global Marketing Director

DESCRIPTION

The Global Marketing Director is accountable for running the marketing function at this fast moving, high growth start-up. This is a hardworking, passionate and ambitious individual, with Orthopedic Medical Device Marketing experience.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and delivering the strategic marketing plan for the organization
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • Creating and delivering marketing campaigns to drive product revenue
  • Working cross functionally on the development of new products
  • Responsible for surgeon education through Webinars, meetings and tradeshows
  • Key Opinion Leader management and development
  • Responsible for the development and management of all promotional materials for products
  • Manage and develop content for website, social media and advertising
  • Develop and manage sales force training materials
  • Provide clinical support and training to field force
  • Provide ad-hoc sales support
  • Provide regular product and educational content to internal and external customers
  • As often as needed, provide updates/information and direction to the sales team regarding new developments, competitive activity, new products or any other topic that may have an impact on the business
  • Responsible for new product launches including; pricing, forecasting and sales force training

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4 years of successful marketing experience in the orthopedic medical device field, preferably with upper extremity experience
  • Understands various sales and marketing strategies in order to capitalize on opportunities and competitive threats
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Possess excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills
  • Creates a trusting, collaborative, and ethical work environment
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, compliance and accountability

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management. MBA preferred.
