Mederic M. Hall, MD

Mederic M. Hall, MD, is a sports medicine physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of tendon disorders and other sport-related musculoskeletal problems. He is an internationally recognized expert in diagnostic ultrasound imaging and ultrasound guided procedures. Dr. Hall is the Director of Musculoskeletal and Sports Ultrasound at University of Iowa Sports Medicine and is a team physician for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, multiple book chapters, and has been an invited presenter at over 100 national and international conferences. He has also served two terms on the Board of Directors for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) and is a past Chair of the Sports Ultrasound Committee for AMSSM.

Dr. Hall completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He then went on to complete his Internship, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency, and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
